The Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE) meets the language entrance requirements of many universities, and it has a high reputation in commercial, industrial, and government establishments. The Cambridge FCE was first introduced in 1939, and the last revision was in 1996. The Cambridge FCE is an intermediate level qualification, equivalent to ALTE Level 3 [The Association of Language Testers in Europe]. The Cambridge FCE examination is held in March, June, and December, and each year there are over a quarter of a million candidates representing more than 150 nationalities. If you plan to sit the Cambridge FCE exam, you may wish to study with a personal tutor who is able to identify the weak points in your English and focus your efforts in the right direction. Distance-learning under the guidance of your Oxford tutor will mean that you can progress far more in far less time. You will not have to spend time and money travelling to and from an English class, and you will be able to interact with your Oxford tutor whenever you wish. There are two ways for you to proceed. Please choose the one you prefer: You can write and tell us about yourself and why you want to study for the Cambridge FCE exam. We shall then provide you with good free advice and suggestions.
